Enthusiastic Kilifi stakeholders meet KISIP team to discuss land use development plans - Kilifi, Thursday, July 13, 2023
Officers from the Second Kenya Informal Settlement Improvement Project (KISIP2) are currently engaging a team of stakeholders drawn from Kilifi County in coastal region, to present the draft land use development plans for selected areas within the county.

The presentation of Local Physical and Land Use Development Plans for Mazeras and M27 areas in Kilifi County, is expected to gather views, comments and input from stakeholders in the region, with the aim of preparing the final plan which will be presented for approval.

The meeting is being attended by local political leadership including area ward representatives, Kilifi county key officials including chief officer housing and urban development, director housing and officers drawn from technical departments such as planning, survey, engineering, audit and environment. KISIP2 Liaison and National Land Commission (NLC) are also represented and E&G Consultants.
